Hi, I'm Qixuan.

I'm in my last year of Computer Science at the University of Toronto, with a minor in Statistics.

Most of my time goes into Remeda, where I'm a senior engineer. I work on Polaris, which drafts referral letters for a doctor to review, and on Ego, which lets patients keep their health records and decide who sees them. With the MedQx team I'm also building a benchmark for testing medical LLMs on simulated patients.

Before that I spent a year at Veeva writing end-to-end tests for their regulatory software. Earlier, I built music-driven visuals for a therapy study, which became my first paper.

Selected work

2025

A TouchDesigner system where a song's loudness and roughness change how the visuals move and deform. We tested a soft and an intense version with 30 people.

2026

How many demonstrations does a robot need? A VINN pipeline on robomimic Lift and Can, compared with ImageNet nearest neighbours and behavioural cloning at 10, 50 and 100 demos.

2026

A home practice app that walks children through the steps of radiotherapy with audio prompts and helps them practise staying still, with a wearable sensor tracking movement.

2025

A D3 data story about cinema and streaming, built with two classmates. I went back later and redid the layout so it reads well on a phone.
